Baguio Trip : Always

My Mom loved the layout! Then she asked, where did I get the butterfly frames? I smiled and said that those are part of Jollibee drink carrier that i cut out, primed with gesso, and then stamped with butterflies! Yeah - you can re use the those paper drink carriers and use them as frames! No need to buy paper frames.

The fabric ribbon  and the 3 dimensional butterflies were bought from 168 Mall in Divisoria. The Fabric ribbon cost Php40 for a roll and the butterflies are Php35 per sheet (depends on the design, a sheet has around 8 - 12 butterflies.

The rest : papers and embellishments are bought from the advance "Tiangge" or Bazaar Sale for its Scrappin Club members last 20 October. The sale would be open to the public on 13-17 November 2012. Oh, call me a hoarder but this brings the estimated cost a lot lower! For this layout that is fully decked with flowers : it would be around Php85. Why? The mark down embellishments would only be Php5 - when it was previously sold around Php29-Php49.50!

The layout is entered on the following challenge blog:

1. Challenge 9 of Filipino Scrapbookers's Challenge Blog
2. Anything Goes Challenge #144 of Kaboodle Doodles
