FSCB 44 : Gunting Ka Ba?
Oh yes! Scissors or gunting is the most basic tool we scrapbookers or crafters use! It was the first to enter my mind.. and yet the last card I made.
Gunting ka ba?
(Are you a "scissor"?)
Gutay gutayin man ang puso ko,
Ikaw pa rin ang mahal ko
(Even if you shred my heart,
I still love you!)
What is different in this card is that i used an acrylic silver dabber on the white embellishment bought from Filstar's AAS. The multicolored ribbon - not sure where it came from, just saw it on the craft aka dining table. Still used Martha Steward Punchers on the corner.
This ends the February Pick Up card series : made me wishful and sad.. as I lost my cat last thursday.. but good thing I already had thought about the Pick up lines.

FSCB 44 Rubber Stamp ka ba?
I love rubber stamps! I collect them, I buy them .. and I have lots that I still have to use at least once.
Rubber Stamp Ka Ba?
(Are you a rubber stamp?)
Naka tatak ka na sa puso ko eh!
(You have marked my heart!)
The paper flowers are actually cut by my mother. In her free time, she likes to cut paper for use. Well, it was there and so I risked being admonished - I sued them.
The hexagons I found from my Mother's stash and not from Filstar. The corner punchers are from Martha Stewart.

FCSB 44 : Embellishment ka ba?
My Mom loves it when I use her punchers, she feels justified in buying stuff. So in these FSCB series, I made sure of using a puncher on each one.
Embellishment ka ba? (Are you an embellishment?)
Kasi gumanda buhay ko dahil sa iyo
(because my life became more beautiful with you )
I also found some white carboard squigglies - from the yearly tiange of Filstar which i simply dab with their red stamp for a bit of color.
I layered papers on this for more depth and contrast ...

FSCB 44 Papel ka ba?
Papel or paper - the basic item all scrapbookers and artists start on. Papel can also refer to a role or part.
Papel ka ba?
IKAW KASI ANG KAILANGAN KO SA BUHAY KO ....
Surprisingly.. my cards are still made out of Filstar's All About Scrapbooking items! Well, except for the base white paper, that is watercolour paper that is distressed with red stamp.
The brown mat is from AAS 6 x 6 stacks, trimmed a little bit. The yellow bird is a cardboard embellishment.

FSCB 44 Glue ka ba?
Ok, fine - Challenge 44 calls for cards and its February, the love month. So, for the challenge, I thought of the pick lines that I get to watch almost daily on tv shows. Thus : my Pick Up cards. Instead of a sentiment, the pick up to be written in front.
And the inside : the answer.
Any particular theme? So I keep it in line with scrapbooking, the basics!
All the pick up lines were printed using Word, then cut out, double adhesive on brown or blue paper, and another double adhesive for added dimension.
I do not have doilies on hand so i simply frizzy cut some doily from a paper book bought at Divisoria. The rose foam is courtesty of Ate Jeannie David, and I simply glittered with gold. A blue mat was pizzazed with big Martha Steward punchers. I have these cloth ribbons - but i had to use three strips to look as one.
Glue ka ba? NAKADIKIT KA NA KASI SA PUSO KO EH!
