The AAS red velvet lace was packed with a black paper to show contrast - this is what I used to cut the circle and punched around. The remaining paper was punched as butterflies!
I used AAS as the long strip base for the picture which were spruced by use of a puncher. I also used two washi tapes to add more pattern.
The round thing on the center of the black? That is actually a pin holder.. i layered it with gesso so I can add color and when dried up, dabbed with an acrylic dabber, and this was attached by a brad!
